On 2 May 2011, I was sleeping in my home in Islamabad when Osama bin Laden was assassinated. Deep in the night, my cell phone rang. I was then working with Dawn News TV and Dawn, Pakistan's leading newspaper. My assignment editor at Dawn, was calling. I thought he will be sharing the usual political humdrum of the country. I answered the call, hearing 'Osama has been killed in Abbottabad a while ago, an office car is on the way to pick you up'. What? I asked myself, 'Osama, the world's most-wanted terrorist has been killed, and that too in Abbottabad ?
